Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is conducted for the students aspiring to do post-graduation in management courses. The score obtained in CET is applicable for admission in the Government, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State. All the courses available though this Entrance test are full time two year course, approved by AICTE.
Available Courses :
• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Master of Management Studies (MMS)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA)
Eligibility Criteria :
• The candidate should have completed his Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years regular in any discipline.
• The candidate must have got minimum of 45% marks.
• The minimum percentage required in case of SC/ST students is 40%
• Final year students are also eligible to take test but they have to provide the provisional at the time of admission.
• There is no age restriction for CET.

1. Sale of application form (at post offices) : from 15th Jan, 2009
2. Online submission of application form : 15th Jan, 2009 – 31st Jan, 2009
3. Last date to submit application form
(by post) : 31st Jan, 2009
4. Commencement of exam : 15th Feb, 2009 (2PM – 5PM)
5. Declaration of result : 23rd Mar, 2009
6. Registration for GD/PI : 11th May, 2009 – 22nd May, 2009
7. Final selected students list : 29th Jun, 2009

Examination Pattern & Syllabus:
• Their will be total of 200 questions
• Total time given for completion of all the questions will be 2 and a half hour.
• The level of the question will be equivalent to the level of Maharashtra Higher Secondary Board.
