FMS 2009 MBA

Faculty of Management Studies conducts an Entrance exam for the students who aspire to do MBA, generally known as FMS Admission Test. The institute was established in 1954 and is a part of University of Delhi. It has been listed in the top institutes among the Management offering institutes in the country. The institute does not provide any reserved seats for the students which are not the resident of Delhi or NCR.

Eligibility Criteria :

• The candidate must have done 10+2 from a recognized board.
• The candidate must have also done Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields:
Medicine
Engineering
Technology
• Equivalent candidates with CGPA are also eligible lest they have obtained a score of 6 or above.
• The percentage criteria for students are:
The students under science stream must have got a minimum of 55% marks.
The students under Commerce, Arts, and Social Sciences are eligible at 50% marks.
Statistics or Mathematics students must have got a minimum of 60% marks.

1. Sale of Application form : from 20th Oct, 2008
2. Last date for submission of the application form : 1st Dec, 2008
3. Date commencement of exam : 11th Jan, 2009

Distribution of Seats:

There are total of 144 seats for the course, out of which the distribution is made like:
• General category : 70 seats
• OBC : 25 seats
• SC : 18 seats
• ST : 9 seats
• Supplementary category : 22 seats

Selection Procedure:

The selection procedure would proceed as follows:
• The candidates would be short-listed on the basis of the performance in the Entrance Exam.
• The short-listed students would be then called for GD/PI/Extempore.
• Final declaration of the successful candidates would be made on the basis of the collective performance of the candidate in all the t Entrance test and GD/PI/Extempore.
