IIBF 2009 MBA

Indian Institute of Banking & Finance is an institute, which provides the facility of Distance Learning in Management of Banking and Finance programme. The candidate appearing in the examinations not only get the adequate education and knowledge inputs but the institute also offers various educational services namely publishing specific courseware for each paper/examination, publishing work books, tutorials through accredited institutions, contact classes, virtual classes, e-learning through portal and many more.


Eligibility Criteria:

* The candidate who has done a Bachelor’s course from a recognized University in any disciple.
* The minimum duration of the course must not be less than 3 years.
* The candidate must have got an aggregate of 50% marks in the Bachelor’s degree.
* The candidates currently in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply lest they have to submit all the necessary documents before their admission.

Important Dates:

1. Enrolment for the program starts : June, 2008
2. Last date of the exam : End of Jan, 2009

Examination Pattern:

* The medium of the exam will be English.
* Total of three sections would be there, based on the difficulty level viz. basic, intermediate, and advanced level
* Their will be total of 120 questions which need to be answered in 120 minutes.
* Their will be negative marking scheme applied in the test. For example, if there are 4 choices in one question then 1/8 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Passing Criteria:

* The one who gets minimum of 50% marks as aggregate in a single attempt with 45% marks in individual section will be declared as pass.
* Candidates getting more than 70% marks will be declared as First Class.
* Candidates getting more than 80% marks in first attempt will come under First Class with distinction category.

Syllabus:

The questions in the exam will be asked from:

* Decision Making
* Problem Solving
* Case Analysis
* Conceptual
* Knowledge

There could be a case study with a set of about 5 questions.
